FLARE U’s second mini album, LOVEHOOD, captures a boy’s journey as he encounters the unfamiliar emotion of love for the very first time. While the first mini album, YOUTH ERROR, portrayed two imperfect youths meeting and discovering their own light, LOVEHOOD depicts the boy’s dazzling emotional season as he comes to realize that the feelings that have suddenly swept over him are, in fact, love.

Like a sunshower arriving without warning on a clear day, love comes at the most unexpected moment. The fluttering excitement feels strange and awkward because it is his first time experiencing it?yet it is far from unwelcome. As the boy looks inward at these unfamiliar feelings, he begins to recognize them as love. LOVEHOOD follows his growth amid the excitement and confusion of falling in love for the first time.
